If we compare between 2 choices of birth, the answer will be yes especially for first time pregnancy. Water birth could be considered in subsequent or non complicated pregnancies, especially if the baby is not too big. However when the water birth is right for you, warm water can help to reduce labor pains and accelerate birth. At 37 degree Celsius, warm water will stimulate the mom’s pituitary gland to release endorphins to relax her muscles. So, she will feel more comfortable and less pain.
